This past week, we’ve read chapters 1 and 2 of William L. Shirer’s history of Nazi Germany. Before we move on to chapters 3 and 4 next week, we spend a little time talking about why we’re reading the book and who Hitler really was…
A big thanks to everyone who has subscribed to this book group in the past few weeks. We realized that a Zoom call was never going to work for everyone. So we’re trying out a podcast, which will hopefully emulate something of a book discussion group.
This first podcast is available to both free subscribers and paid subscribers. I will try to keep it that way as long as I can.
Just a reminder that this whole thing is an experiment! A mass reading group of a 65-year old book, recap posts, the podcast…
A few of you have contacted me privately, with thoughts, questions, and archival finds from William Shirer’s papers.
I’d love to hear from the rest of you though. Please chime in below!
And please consider forwarding to a friend. The more the merrier!
